Hyderabad CONFEDERATION of Indian Industry Andhra Pradesh chapter has appreciated Government of Andhra Pradesh for releasing pending incentives to textile and spinning mills industries.

Datla Tirupati Raju, Chairman, CII Andhra Pradesh recently thanked Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for releasing the pending incentives to industry despite revenue shortage due to Covid-19 pandemic. The release of Rs 684 crore to textile and spinning mills would improve the cash flow for companies operating in textile sector.

Industry Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy has taken proactive initiatives to support the micro and small enterprises through ReSTART package. Under the package, Andhra Pradesh government has released Rs 440 crore to MSMEs, which would greatly help the working capital requirements of industry and address the liquidity issues.

The release of incentives to textile and spinning mills would help to create employment opportunities, he said. The inclusive approach followed by Government to support various segments of society has improved the purchasing power and helped to revive the demand for various goods and services in the economy, he added.
